At Hex Trust, we prioritize the security and protection of your assets. That's why we've implemented a comprehensive insurance coverage framework to safeguard the digital assets under custody with us in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
What We Cover
Our insurance policy covers the following events:
- **Dishonest or fraudulent acts/omissions of the custodian**.
- **Physical loss or damage to private keys due to natural disaster or violent acts **.
- **Theft by any person perpetrated from our premises**.
Compensation Limits
Our insurance policy provides a maximum coverage of US$50,000,000 across all clients, expandable to US$100,000,000 upon agreement with our Lead Insurer and payment of additional premium. The final compensation will be subject to the terms and conditions of our insurance policy and may be adjusted periodically to ensure adequate protection for all clients.
Claims Process
If you experience a covered incident, follow these steps:
- Report the Incident: Contact our security team immediately at security@hextrust.com within 24 hours of discovering any suspected loss or unauthorized access to your digital assets.
- Investigation: Our team will conduct a thorough investigation to verify the details of the incident and determine the extent of the loss.
- Submit a Claim: Once the investigation is complete, a claim to our insurance provider will be submitted promptly.
- Receive Compensation: Upon approval of the claim, the insurer will process the compensation payment within 30 business days.
